SCC-IRB Track 2: The “Community Tech Workers”: A Community-Driven Model to Support Economic Mobility and Bridge the Digital Divide in the U.S. ($1.4 million). Very excited about this work with my UM colleagues Julie Hui, Kentaro Toyama, Mustafa Naseem and our community partners!
August 10: We received funding as the National Science Foundation’s inaugural class of projects supported by the Strengthening American Infrastructure (SAI) Program! EAGER: SAI: Community-Informed Surveillance Infrastructure for Public Safety and Equity ($299K). The Kavli program honors young scientists who are considered leaders in their fields and have made significant scientific contributions. Fellows are invited to attend, present, and network at U.S. and international Kavli Frontiers of Science symposia, at which some of the world’s brightest young scientists convene to share the exciting research taking place in their fields.
